University Activities

  1. Serving as a committee member of Faculty Commons for three years (From 2023 to 2026).
  2. Faculty officer of SKY Happiness Club Since Fall 2024.
  3. Volunteered to teach Programming at Girls STEM Camp Summer 2024.
  4. Volunteered to assist in Monster Bot event at MESA Middle School Camp in Summer 2024.
  5. Completed 8-hour Search Advocates training at EWU.
  6. Volunteered to be a part of Spooky Science night 2024.
  7. Conducted two workshops titled Paint and Meditate on October 8 and 9, 2024, in Cheney and Spokane Campuses, respectively.
  8. Conducted a Breathwork and Meditation workshop titled Take a Break Before Thanksgiving on November 26, 2024.

Department Activities

  2. Served as a Senator for Fall 2023.
  3. I currently serve on the undergraduate curriculum committee.

  5. Serving as Faculty Officer for Google Development Group, IEEE Computer Society Club.
  6. I am assisting towards the curriculum development of BS and MS in Cybersecurity.
  7. I have assisted in ABET-related processes and SRA.

Professional Activities

  1. Chair WIE (Women in Engineering) affinity group, IEEE Spokane Section.
  2. Election Chair IEEE Spokane Section 2024.
  3. Member IEEE and Women in Engineering.
  4. Member ACM.
  5. Member WACSE (Washington State Computer Science & Engineering).
  6. Delivered a keynote speech at the 2024 IEEE International Prognostics and Health Management Conference (June 17-19, 2024).
  7. Selected as a speaker at the 10th IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Conference (WIE ILC), to be held in San Jose, USA, on May 15-16, 2025.
  8. Reviewed 18 papers in various journals of repute and conferences; reviewed 3 PhD theses.
  9. Invited as an expert speaker for a seminar on CSR and advanced technologies such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Big Data Analytics to drive sustainable business practices.
  10. Invited to deliver a talk at the International Conference on Computational Data Sciences (ICCDS 2024) organized by Chandigarh University.

Community Activities

  1. Volunteered for mentoring the Libby Middle School Spokane students to prepare them for the Science Olympiad. Helped in various activities like Code Buster knowledge by taking weekly online classes, Flight Build event, and Roller Coaster Build event in Spring 2024.
  2. Volunteering to teach Punjabi language to kids every Sunday at Sikh Temple of Spokane (Ongoing).
  3. Invited and delivered a motivational talk by RGCI India, “Hope, Faith, and Healing: A Journey Beyond Cancer.”
  4. Conducted daily online yoga, breathwork, and meditation sessions for two months in 2024 after discussion with doctors (Hematologists, Oncologists) for cancer patients, survivors, and families—“Yoga for Healing: Cancer Patients.”
  5. Acting as a volunteer for organizing SKY Breath Meditation courses online during weekends/holidays.
  6. Organized voluntary breathing and meditation sessions for the faculty, staff, and students of EWU and Whitman College Walla.
